Evening all, Yay! After spending most of boxing day, and the day after, at the hospital with the future Lady Vella, (she's home now and recovering, thank God) I have now succumbed to a cold and possible chest infection, so this has been an interesting Christmas. By interesting I mean crap. Morning all,
happy New Year.
I hate New Year! The dog really doesn't like all the fireworks, so it was stressful, as usual.
Then the youngest daughter's boyfriend over did it and had to get a saline drip (one of the other party guests was a paramedic) and my wife had to pick them up and bring them back home, luckily she hadn't drunk anything by the time the daughter contacted us, so she didn't drink anything for the rest of the evening either, so that she could drive...

happy new year ... i understand about your dog as our two were hiding behind us to see the new year in. the major reason we remain at home for new years eve is the 'boys' but we are looking forward to our new years dinner of 'ham, egg and chips' which we have as a family every new years day ...

Morning all. Back down the road to sunny Peterborough today. Will hopefully get to see the one uncle we haven't managed to see this festive period today but it'll depend on whether or not his back is in a fit state for him to drive  . Fingers crossed. Have a great day folks.
