That's what they claim! I reckon they're trying to fraudulently increase their premiums!

I think that you might be right there with them paying for accident leads through referral fees.

Yes, perish the thought of it reducing their profits. Turns out I don't like paying for fraudulent claims any more than they do.

Step up East Coast trains. New timetable with thousands of more seats:

Quote:
We’re delighted to bring you the biggest timetable change our route has seen for 20 years. You can now enjoy a whole host of improvements, including:

Over 3 million more seats per year on the East Coast route
19 new services each weekday
Improved frequency

What they don't mention explicitly is that the extra seats and new services basically mean that where I could get a direct train from Peterborough to Glasgow there is now only one a day (where there used to be 8+) and performing that journey now involves making more changes. Not impressed

I can't decide here if the fail is the company selling, or Amazon for allowing them to list...

£1,000 memory card

Given the company seems to have dozens of items all listed at the same price, I have a feeling this is one case where Hanlon's razor doesn't apply, at least for them.,

I needed a black shirt for a funeral tomorrow. Didn't have any at home so asked my sis to get me one. She looked at nearby shops and they were all slim/tailored fit which doesn't help as it's always tight around the chest/arms and limits manoeuvrability. So I went to solihull town centre and got a ted baker one from John Lewis. Still too tight and there's no mention of slim/tailored fit on it. Feckers.

Means I have to traipse around tomorrow before the funeral to find another one.

Why is it so difficult to find a regular fit black shirt?

Are you sure you're not just buying the wrong size? ;)

I'd just wear a white shirt, and I mean no disrespect by that.

I've got a dark grey one with stripes that I might wear instead.

This is the first time I'll be going to a funeral. :(

You don't need a black shirt. White is fine. It's the jacket and trousers that have to be black, or at least charcoal. And the shoes, unless you're gay in which case you already know what's OK.

Pretty much the only person in a black shirt at a funeral is the devil, and the priest. Or Johnny Cash. Same thing really.

+1
As long as you've got a dark grey or black suit/jacket to go on top of it.

I think being sombre and smart for a funeral is all that is needed.

I wear black trousers and shoes every day at work anyway so no issues there.

Will see about the shirt. I've been asked to wear dark colours.

Good luck with the hunt anyway.

FWIW, I don't think I want anyone wearing black at my funeral, unless they're really cool.
Bright colours and smiles please. :)
