Morning all, Plenty to do today, I'm going out to get some washing done, then off to do some shopping, then coming back home to clean the flat. Should hopefully have time to do other stuff too  Ben

Morning all,
Went to the dentist for my first check-up since I was 16! I went once, in 2003 because a tooth broke, but apart from that, I haven't been to the dentists. It started off with "not enough time" to make an appointment, then fear at what they would find.
The dentists found 1 small hole and 2 old fillings which have started to break up. She filled the hole and replaced one filling on Thursday, I have to go back next week for the other filling, then she will do a professional cleaning...
Not too bad for nearly 30 years without regular visits!
I went for the ceramic re-inforced plastic (literal translation), which means I have to pay a bit extra, but I think it is worth it, seeing as the amalgam can poison the body...

off to finish the garden furniture - sanded and oiled up the chairs and underside of the table - now to put a 2nd coat on and to clean the table top before oiling that as well

Greetings.
We had a bit of a late night last night, which makes a change for us.
Today I am going to drop Best Beloved at the GP surgery for a chat with his quack, and then wander down to the bank to stash some proceeds from some sales over the weekend. Thence to the supermarket for a slightly earlier than anticipated weekly grocery shop.
