That's what I'd figured. In answer to your question, it's the standard Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day. The rest will have to be booked off, as required. ION. I finally managed to get through to the doctor's surgery today. They won't tell me the results of the MRI scan, but the doctor wants me to come in and discuss it with him. There are no appointments until at least the 8th of December and even then I have to phone up at 08:00 and hope for the best. Apparently they have appointments starting at 07:00 on Wednesdays so I could phone my doctor on Monday and book one for that time... or so the receptionist says. Flipping useless, the lot of them

My car. I put a litre of coolant in it last week, as the engine temp light came on. One week later and it's done it again. Put another litre of coolant in it and just phoned the mechanic. I'm dropping her off on Friday evening so he can have a look on Saturday.
I hope it's a small leak, and nothing more serious.

I really need to stay off the internet when I'm tired and dazed. I ended up paying over the odds for one of those John Lewis penguin toys from ebay.

Yes, very droll... lol ION, I finally managed to get the results of my not so recent MRI scan, and the outcome was... arthritis! Yay! The doctor is writing to the physio people to set me up with an appointment. At least I now know it's not all in my head lol

Some of my patients would be disappointed that a scan showed only arthritis. Pain caused by simple wear and tear isn't enough for them. They want something exotic. In fact, I have a handful of patients who are hypochondriacs who are always up at the surgery for every twinge, ache, cough etc, convinced they have cancer. A some of them have developed cancer and suddenly they're no longer coming up to the surgery. It's almost as if theyre happyto finally have cancer!
