should reach 35°C here today! I would retreat to the cellar, but I have to drive an hour to an interview at lunch time...

Morning all.
Hopefully not quite as hot today as it was yesterday. Think it got up around 33C. So glad the office has air con. Shame the same isn't true of the place I do Tai Chi. That got sweaty quickly.

Yesterday, on the hottest day of the year, we had the office air con on finally, and two of the girls who always complain they're cold were sat with fleeces on, blankets over their legs and a hot water bottle each. I s**t you not!

Morning all.
Hopefully there won't be a repeat of the crash on the A1 that happened yesterday. It took me nearly 2 hours to get home (normal journey time 20 - 25 minutes), and that was having been forewarned there was problem. Unfortunately, so had everyone else and the prospect of going on a magical mystery tour of the Fens didn't really appeal.
On the plus side, looks like it's a lot cooler today.
