Dinner is on my mind too. The girlfriend wanted to meet up tonight. Yesterday she said she would come over. Today I asked and she said we would meet up at nandos. She's fifteen mins late and she turned up at my house. so sat here waiting for her.

Yeah I know it's Nandos but it's where she wanted to eat.

That the woman who was quite keen on me before I went away on holiday now seems to be completely blanking me. I was only away for a week FFS! Ah well, if she's that prone to drama...

So after 45 mins she turns up. At 1930 she was outside my house. It's 10 mins from there to where I was. It took her 30 mins because she got lost. Nandos was packed by that time so we ended up in Frankie and Bennies.

So, doing some study for a work qualification.
Turns out my learning style is both Reflective and Pragmatic: I like to gather as much information as possible before making a decision, but I like getting on and doing things without too much debate.

Nope just staying while I'm getting work done. A 240 mile daily commute is a bit much.

EDIT Sorry just checked it's actually 300 miles round trip

Lots of pleasure involved and very good to reconnect with an old school mate. Plus the work he's doing is fantastic so I can't grumble at all.

I used to do that, used to average 500-550 miles a week including site visits. Was not fun at all

I used to travel from Manchester to Hull and back ever day, (about 200 miles a day) which was a lot of fun. Actually, no it wasn't, but the money certainly made up for it!
