I accept that. It was just that when I first saw her in some red carpet photos I first thought that she was very pretty but when imdb-ed found out that she was 14. Since the thread is called the redhead thread I never assumed that it was about people that you fancy. I do not fancy Christina Hendricks in anyway. Apologies to all concerned.

In some ways, I can see your point. She does look very grown up in that pic and I suspect that's where the problem lies - young teens looking like older women. Certainly I can see how some guys get into trouble for unwittingly having sex with minors.

Nightclubs still have the same problem. You wonder why most have not been shut down for serving minors.

Yeah just delete the photo IMO, the fact it's making people uncomfortable is enough.

Or teachers being pursued to the far reaches of France. I see your point, some girls mature faster than others. However, there is a legal cut-off point in this country. I also understand that the age of consent is lower than the age that someone is considered a child. So while we can happily debate the finer points of what is right, wrong and all the grey areas I between elsewhere, in order to keep this form rig and proper, I think that any posts in a thread such as this should be those considered adult by UK law. There are certainly forum rules that regulate this, but there also has to be a dose of common sense applied. I hope I've not prejudiced the moderators' opinions by making the above point.

Second that. This thread is controversial enough.

I believe that the picture is now gone and I have to agree that if it's causing discomfort among users, (and let's not forget that we're all friends here) it's really not worth the hassle.

Back on thread somewhat, on my drive in to work I noticed that there's a new massive billboard ad up, which is advertising Johnnie Walker whisky and strongly features Christina in 'Mad Men' guise. Frankly, it's quite... distracting and I'm not sure having it alongside a busy road junction is a good idea. Unfortunately it's not somewhere I can easily stop to grab a photo of it as evidence. There's a car park a few minutes walk away though, so if it stays dry I may get around to it .

Don't think there's an exact match for the actual advert. TBH I only saw it out of the corner of my eye so... I think she may be wearing the red dress that shows up early from that search, or something very similar. And because I did the search...

This one turned up on a SteamPunk Facebook page. I don't know who the lady is, but I thought I'd share.

Managed to nip out and take a photo of the advert in my lunch break... You have to say, it seems very much like 'quick, we've got to finish this ad right now and we've got no decent ideas at all, so just stick a photo of a sexy lady on there'.
