Morning all,

It's Friday! Only got one session today - Speaking and Listening with the Media group, then I'm done for the week... Yay!

Have a great day everyone.

Morning.

Nope. Nothing humorous or interesting to tell.

Oh, well done and good luck to Zippy!

Merry Friday.

Morning World TFIF

Day has already started badly with a f*cked up car transfer for one of my travellers last night. The driver was in the airport waiting for the passenger, no sign of the passenger. Flight was delayed by an hour, flight landed, still no sign of passenger. Driver called passenger mobile and got an international ring tone and no voicemail, finally left the airport an hour after the flight had landed when he was the only one left in the terminal, ER after hours phone never rang after that and this morning the company owner is getting repeat phonecalls from the fiance of the passenger hurling abuse at him about leaving the passenger at the airport.

Company owner is distressed at the abuse and refusing to answer his phone to the fiance anymore (rightfully) but feels that he and his driver have done everything they can to get the passenger from the airrport so now I'm at a loss. I need to talk to the design manager and find out the passengers side of the story and also explain that the conduct of the fiance is completely unacceptable in any case. The passenger has a company credit card for just this type of situation so although she may have been late home, she shouldn't have been too inconvenienced.

I hate travel!! I hate today!! I hate over-reaction!!

Lo peeps

Much pain today :( The sun shines though despite the abysmal forecast :D

Pain on a sunny day - sounds like part of a song lyric?

Morning.

I was planning a photosnaptic trip first thing, but my dawn alarm (cats mithering for their breakfast) didn't go off. Pity, because the weather's cleared up nicely now. :|

Oh well, there's tomorrow.

Happy Saturday everyone.

Lo peeps

Today I'm nursing a Guinness hangover. I do hope I'm feeling better by tonight as I'm taking the family out for a slap-up meal. Now all I have to do is choose the chippy.

Lo peeps

Yesterday, we bought a new rug for the living room. Living life on the edge as I do, it will be interesting to see what today has in store for me.

Bacardi I think.........

Afternoon all.

I really must learn that there is no such thing as 'few turns of Civ IV'
Still, grass cut, dishes done and I'll shortly be challenging cleaning the bathroom and the kitchen floor. Such fun!

Enjoy what's left of the weekend folks.
