Evening all.

Christmas Quiz at lunchtime at work today. Much food and merriment had by all. My team came second by 1 point... grrrr.

Still only 2 more days until I'm off on holiday until next year.

Morning all.

Woke up feeling like I've got the flu coming. Not what I want when we're going out drinking tonight at work.

Morning.

Penny-puss update: We acquired a cheap food blender gadget yesterday, which means I can destroy grilled chicken and rice into something she will eat without leaving the rice out. After the first blast, I put the results in her food tray, blinked, and wondered whether I'd put any food in her tray. :)

Sadly, she later brought it all back up. So, today it's little and often to see if we can promote movement from stomach to pencil sharpener.

Onwards and sideways.

My thoughts are with poor puss. Keep us posted Heather. Pencil sharpener immediately made me think of this

Morning!

Last day of work until Jan 2nd, my plan to do no work has been hijacked by a contract for legal, 2 invoices for approval and an email from my boss. Still, one boss is taking me out for lunch at 12:00 until 14:00 and then I leave for the day so no big deal ;)

Last day of work until January for me too. Looks like it's going to be a chaotic one.

I've only got the bank holidays off this month, which suits me just fine as the mother-in-law is around...

Morning all.

So, having put off doing the house work for pretty much the entire week it's now d-day as I'm off up to the parents for the festive season and need to decide if I want to come back to a clean and tidy house or not.

This all assumes all the train tracks between here and Glasgow haven't been washed away in the night. Time to check the East Coast website me thinks.

Have a great day folks.

Morning World!

Fab Yule celebration last evening, lots of feasting, laughter and chatting, also more drinking than I'm used to so was a bit worse for wear at one stage, however, washing up and tidying up the kitchen made me feel a lot better and I'm fine this morning, not hung over at all which is good.

Now I can start looking forward to Christmas properly :)
