Because someone wants to make profit on their investment on buying the catalogue of films. I suspect a lot of the list they purchased will get some sort of remake treatment at some point. Mark

Nah. It probably is 15 minutes too long (could do with tighter ending in the middle act) and it rather feels like it's caught between wanting to be all serious and then wanting to be a bit silly but it's a perfectly acceptable film and hardly 'boring'. As for Brosnan, I think he's in no position to talk having starred in what are widely regarded as the two worst Bond films ever made.
