In TV news I watched the first season of Battlestar Galactica, thought it was better than last time I watched because I was giving it more of a chance, however my initial concerns were soon confirmed when they continued to constantly over-estimate how interesting an imaginary cylon in your head is. I watched the first episode of season 2, and it focussed so heavily on those two that I just gave in in exasperation, unless anyone can promise that they both get brutally murdered soon I'm never going to watch another episode My life feels better for being BSG free

The cylon in your head theme does have a role to play further into the series. But I do know what you mean when you say there is too much of it.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

I think you can probably say that was more about giving that particular cylon as much screen time as was humanly possible. Especially when shoe-horned into a tight dress.

If you've ever watched Flash Forward, Jame Callis makes a genius reference to Caprica 6 in it. I literally LOL'd!

I bought Madden NFL 11 last night for my iPhone and I really like it.
Might think about getting it for my XBox or something.

The US DOD will be definitely watching for that reason.

Behind the Scene - Waterways MuseumI watched this yesterday, well as I was doing something else. Not really a thrilling or even informative programme but there were a few bits that were entertaining. One volunteer at the museum is this guy called Paul. Now Paul is a camwhore and trys to direct the filmcrew himself, also most of his colleagues think he is a bit of an idiot (from not knowing his machinery) and make gestures behind his back whilst he is being filmed and talk about him to the cameras when he's absent. If the scenes relating to him were edited into a separate show you would probably think it was comedy sketch.

I discovered Misfits on 4OD last night.
Brilliant show!
It's about 5 kids doing community service. They get caught in a freak storm and then begin to discover that they have super powers.
It sounds ridiculous but it's actually really good. The powers have been matched to the personality of each person.
Anyway, if you haven't seen it you should give it a watch.
Very good show.

Yeah, I saw a couple of episodes of the first series of Misfits - but then forgot when it was on so I missed the rest. It reminds me a lot of Skins, dunno if it's made by the same people?

Both series were good. One of the few things that Channel 4 produced that was worth watching regularly.

Well, that's that then.http://geeks.thedailywh.at/2011/03/09/geek-news-r-i-p-firefly-of-the-day/ | | | | Quote: R.I.P. Firefly Of The Day: Are you sitting down? Despite Nathan Fillion’s fundraising attempts and even HelpNathanBuyFirefly.com, no amount of fan money will bring Joss Whedon back to his franchise. Sadz.
His sister-in-law, Mo Tancharoen, took to twitter to save geeks’ dough, see above. Then, later issued a statement explaining herself, saying while she loves Browncoats, she hates false hope. Read her full post, after the jump.
In response, the moderators released a statement officially shutting down HelpNathanBuyFirefly.com. Tear. It doesn’t get easier losing Firefly for a second time, does it? | | | | |
