That driving at 93km/h in a 50 zone results in a $950 fine and loss of 8 demerit points. 2 more k would have been an instant loss of licence and much bigger fine.

Thankfully I learnt this through somebody else's stupidity.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

More like 60mph in a 30mph limit. I think you multiplied when you should have divided ;)

The energy production per unit time (power) produced by fusion in the core varies with distance from the solar center. At the center of the Sun, fusion power is estimated by model to be about 276.5 watts/m3,[39] a power production density which more nearly approximates reptile metabolism than a thermonuclear bomb.

I've got all the forms and whatnot to get my paper licence upgraded. I just haven't been bothered, and I can't be arsed to get the photo done.

I still have the same photos from when I had the photocard done. I was gonna go to uni and they wanted a zillion passport sized photos, so I got like twelve of them (six with me in a blue t-shirt, six with me in a white t-shirt). I'm tempted to send the same photo and see what they say, and then send them one of the other ones.

I'd love an 8-series - they remind me so much of Knight Rider. Speaking of which, I learnt that the writers must've been fans of the show:
Sheldon has managed to create a monitor on wheels; the monitor has speakers and webcam, and is linked up to his computer in his bedroom so he can sit at home whilst in the car, there's a robot with sheldon's face on the monitor
Quote:
Sheldon: I don't understand why you're not enjoying this. Together, in this car, with my enhanced capabilities, we're like 'Knight Rider.'
Leonard: Except, in Knight Rider, the car isn't a yammering sphincter.
Sheldon: You mock the sphincter, but, the sphincter is a class of muscle without which human beings couldn't survive. There are over 50 different sphincters in the human body. How many can you name?
Leonard: I was wrong. This is exactly like Knight Rider
