Grrr! My glasses broke yesterday! The bridge broke in two! Luckily they are still under guarantee, but it means I can't use a desktop computer until I get them back.

I bought a pair of reading glasses, which help at close range, but not at the distance that a monitor would normally be at...

Wandering around and driving are ok. My left eye is a bit weak, but I can see clearly at distance, as long as I have both eyes open, with only my left eye, everything is doubled...

And my Galaxy SIII has stopped recognising the WLAN and Bluetooth modules! :(

Morning all.

So glad its Friday, even if it is going to be raining most of the day. At least it will be warmer than it has been recently.

Have a great day folks.

Morning.

Instead of frost we get wind. I prefer it bright and cold of a morning, to be honest.

Anyway, happy Friday everyone.

Morning all, my conjunctivitis seems to be a lot better. It's felt a lot better before, but I shall wait and see how my eyes fair after staring at a screen for eight hours before I come to any conclusions.

Had a real problem for the majority of the night, and then seemingly had a problem waking, hence I'm only on the train now. Apparently we had another power cut last night which took out the boiler again for those floors that had heating.

Morning all.

Moist in Richmond today but at least I didn't need to spend 15 mins de-icing the car.

Morning all.

This is the last full weekend I'll be in Peterborough before heading of to the parents for Christmas (which will be weird because youngest brother won't be there as he's off gallivanting round South America at the moment).

Anywho, it's relatively warm and the sun is shining so things are at least looking good for the weekend.

Have a great day folks.

And I'll be leaving Northampton for Christmas as well - off to Wells I is. 8-)

Oh, and I got FreeSpace2_open working in Linux yesterday - it looks superb! :ugeek:

Morning.

Got up for a photosnaptic Dawn Raid, but the sun didn't want to play with the clouds quite the way I'd hoped it would. So, while a pleasant hour or so in the quiet of a Medway dawn, not as many images as I had planned for.

The rest of the day will be spent chasing paper as I get my accounts in some sort of order.

Onwards and sideways.

Morning all.

I appear to have a blocked ear and it's driving me nuts. Wasn't aware of having done anything unusual to precipitate this state of affairs, it just kicked in last night for no apparent reason.
Looks like a pre-Christmas trip to the doctors could be in the offing.

Anywho, have a great day folks.

Morning.

Not sure why I'm even up. Oh yeah, cats demanded breakfast. Little furry bastids. :D
