I hate this 'we've gotta get females!' sideways sexism crap. And how many have left over creative differences in franchise movies?

And no sooner does one person vacate the Wonder Woman Director's chair due to 'creative differences', only to be replaced by another person ... who coincidentally left a Marvel film (Thor 2) due to 'creative differences'.

It would be an interesting 'trade' between Marvel/DC if Michelle Maclaren went on to direct the Captain Marvel film, as has been rumoured.

You didn't use the line "Aren't you a bit tall for a stormtrooper?'

And thus fail you do.

The only reason to remake Flash Gordon is the 1980 film is loved so much.
The Guardian did an interesting piece on this announcement, and while it makes some sweeping generalisations, I kinda agree with the thrust of the piece.

And I was sure it was CGI.
That new spherical droid BB-8 isn't CGI!
