Or maybe this.

Our next door neighbour had an Isetta when I was 9 or 10(1969). Quite a pretty car and really funny opening the front to get in. Then later a local publican professed to owning one, but I never saw it. I tend not to believe publicans, though this guy was otherwise genuine. Ten points for taste Heather.

That Travolta, Cusack, Piven, Van Damme and quite a few others are alleged in a new book to have been involved in gay goings on at a male spa over the years. The reason it's so funny is there's another claim from I think the National Enquirer that also alleges Travolta 'bumped into' George Michael, and it's all been exposed cos a guy got beat up there and wrote the book* out of spite

Heh-heh.

Did I see a TV show recently where the RAF museum are restoring an FW-190 to working order to use in flight displays? Remember I was at a wedding reception at an RAF mess ... near Cambridge - Dunford I think? And there were a flight of WWII period planes doing maneuvers overhead while the photos were going on. Quite surreal but rather entertaining.

Travolta is old news. Have you noticed how a lot of Scientology actors are married and have gay rumours surrounding them (Cruise and Will Smith)?
They believe homosexuality is an illness and a sexual perversion.....

Our 12-year-old DV camcorder has a clock that goes to 2028.

So, we don't need to replace it for another 18 years. :|

Booking a cheap flight from the island of Ireland going to Cairo gives you multiple headaches at the same time. (8+|

Yeah, that was my first thought when I seen a list of the star names associated with Scientology once

ION, from Wiki but with attached sources ;) :

Quote:
Van Damme will make a return to fighting and is scheduled to fight former boxing Olympic gold-medalist Somluck Kamsing in October 2010, in Macau.[12] The winner of that match will face current world champion Jeffrey "The Squasher" Sun.[13] At the prospect of being the first man over the age of 50 to fight professionally in Macau, Jean-Claude Van Damme stated that "it's kind of dangerous, but life is short."[14]

'Life is short, so I'm risking all kinds of permanent body damage' ;)

I also wouldn't mind one.
My father very nearly bought one. However, the list of things that can go wrong on them with no option of repair or replacement is actually quite surprising, most of it electrical.
He went for a Merc SL320 Special Edition instead.
So, not a Beemer, but a taxi instead.

I know a Paddington bear. I know a Rupert bear. I know polar, grizzly and many other bears.

But I do not know this bear of which you speak?

Does that bring back memories for some older forumites?
