Somthing else on a Sunday? That could be tricky, not everybody is able/willing to pay for Netflix etc, but TG costs quite a bit of relative licence money.

The problem is TG at it's best was some of the best TV in decades.

I agree with the standpoint that casual violence against women is not a legitimate way of marketing a film.

Using any sort of violence to promote anything shouldn't really be happening, if it's a film of over two hours long then there has to be other stills/scenes that can be used by the marketing dept. to push the film.

It only matters that it's a woman because of recent political discourse, something I have no problem with incidentally. It's one that desperately needs to happen. But this is a film poster depicting fictional characters. Even getting into that, the whole point of it IMO is to show Apocalypse as a towering psycho who can take on even the most powerful mutants like Mystique. It could just as easily have been Prof. X lifted out of his chair. I seriously doubt that would have caused a petty internet pile-in though - more likely a bunch of memes.

On the issue of violence and it's promotion, again, for me it's a fantasy sci-fi film, that's what you're gonna get. I mean the guy's called Apocalypse
