Start a poll. If there's enough interest then we can add one

Apparently this farm owner was denied a council permit to build a horse shelter. Fortunately, you don't need a permit to build a table and chairs.

Yesterday, I got home just after 6pm. Shattered from a sleepless night where I questioned my future, had to go to a boring course and then got stuck in traffic because the stupid satnav wanted to take me home through Birmingham international airport (despite me going a different way to avoid the junction), I went to bed around 730pm. I'm surprised I've slept solidly through until now. Not even hungry despite not eating since 1pm.

It might not be in the UK.

You're right, apparently it's Germany.

Sadly, the story is still complete crap.

Just updated one iMac to Mountain Lion and three hours later I am still updating all the apps. Even with Macupdate Desktop to identify out of date apps it has taken more than an hour to update 45 out of date apps.

You have that many apps?! Something that's suprised me in transitioning to a new laptop is how few apps I actually use/need. Generally I'm only installing as I need them, and I'm finding it quite refreshing to have a nice clean machine, and to be able to install things a bit differently this time around. My $PATH is sane again!

I've just been informed that at work a project board has been discussing a URL for a new system. It was originally decided that the URL (with the gubbins before and after of course) would be NERCImages. This meeting then was to suggest an alternative as the initial URL wasn't liked. By the end of the day they had made a decision on a new URL.

Ready?

Sure?

NERCimages

I'd just like to add the project team is not mine or anything to do with me or the people I work with!
