Morning all,

Didn't get much done last night - spent most of it measuring and fitting an interior to Darwin - feels warmer already! Still got the sides and tops of the foot-wells to do, as well as the side panels in the back and the roof, but hopefully it'll bring the noise levels down a bit and warm the car up a bit! (The doors even now make a dull clunking sound rather than a clatter!) :)

Managed to get up early today... Utterly pointless exercise in many ways, since I'm working in Llan-non this morning rather than Lampeter, so it's a 20-minute drive (plus the usual 10-minute pre-flight fluids checks, donning of gloves, coat, earplugs etc) rather than 45 minutes to an hour.

Finger is even more black than yesterday, but seems to hurt less - I can at least type on the laptop with it now!

Right now though, tea.

Morning.

This morning I am dealing with a client's changes to their web site and taking staff photos for them. Then I come home, sort out some stuff, pack a bag and throw the camera gear in the car again and head off to Dorset. I'm staying at Hotel Mum'n'Dad tonight so I can get to somewhere not far from where they live to photography someone's model railway for a magazine.

So, busy old day. I'm hoping my Mum is okay, as I had a call from Dad last night that she's a bit poorly and he was at a loss as to what to do. When my Dad is at a loss about anything, that's pretty serious. :? :( Hopefully he can get the doctor to visit and see what's wrong today.

I'll call later to see how things are. I will be prepared if he wants me to stay over another night or two.

Onwards and sideways.

Good Morning

A strange cat has decided that we are running a hotel and we will feed them as well as our own. Ours are real cowardly cats and dont seem willing to defend thier territory

Strange cat kicked out and water pistol at the ready :D

Morning all.

Still got this cold. When I asked the guy at work I think I caught it from how he could have given it to me (based on me being out of the office more than in last week) he replied with "I licked your keyboard".
Art least I got a chuckle out of it.

Morning all

Got a cold - kept me awake most of the night.

About 3am, Adam came into the bedroom to tell me he wasn't feeling well and threw up on the carpet - no faking there then.

Morning all,

stuck in Ireland with free cabled internet for my laptop, but the plug adapter isn't working, so can't charge it and roaming data not working on my smartphone, but the plug adapter is working, so I can charge it - also no free wifi... :(

Looks like my food allergy might be wheat! :(

Morning all,

Applied for two roles with my current employers, (I'm on a .5 contract and one of the roles was another .5 role - the other was for a programme team leader).

Received the emails yesterday... didn't even get an interview for either, even though I am more than qualified for both of them. I'm taking this personally.

Given other things which have been happening around here lately, I think it might be time to start considering my future.

Have a great day everyone.

:)

We've got some snow! It's not much ( :( ) but at least it's there.

It helps to brighten up what is going to be a very busy day.

I'm not going to mention the S word.

Moving switfly on it's the day of our Christmas party. I'm going for a couple but don't think I'll be staying late.

It's also the 64th birthday of my colleague who's here from Copenhagen. I told him he's a jammy bugger asking London to arrange the party on his birthday and they get his boss to send him to London for the week.

That's all for now folks
