I thought he played Felix Leiter in Casino Royale, obviously I was wrong - although Leiter going rogue would actually be a great Bond story now I think about it. I would say Ernie that your opinion of Skyfall, while perfectly fair, isn't the consensus view .

I wouldn't be so sure , even people I have little attachment to have told me they fell asleep or hated it. The rest just thought it was ok. Royale is the only Craig film I've actually enjoyed, and it's not his fault, it's that there's no heart with the sequels IMO. Doesn't help that they don't seem to know what elements to use from the books or when.

Metacritic - IMDB. Not MASSIVE scores, but certainly positive ones.

Anyway, I rather agree with you about the Craig Bonds, they've been rather unfocused and not quite sure what they want to be. Quantum of Solace was genuinely one of the worst Bond films ever IMO. Hopefully now they've got the whole 'reboot' thing out of their system, we can get some better films.

'Sent to Kindle', but at least it seems like he's giving honest answers instead of fudging it.

He's basically said he doesn't like the humanised faces or the known elements of the origins stories, which is basically what the fans are up in arms about. What I don't understand and maybe it will be revealed in the film is why the shredder would exist?
