Actually, what you're saying is you want a PC. You don't want a Mac at all.

Anyway, back to Skodas.
My dad had a 1960’s imported Skoda Octavia. It was a conversion to right hand drive - the handbrake was between the passenger seat and the door, so doing hill starts was interesting. Oddly, the garage across the road from him had one a few months back - they are the Skoda dealers where he lives now, and they are doing it up. It seems so small now.
I have had a number of Skodas - two Estelles, a Felicia and a Fabia.

I really don't get this attitude about Macs and Mac users. I know most of it is baiting, but frankly, it's a bit childish. I use a Mac. I earn my living using a Mac. Why does that bother people so much? I'm no-one special, just someone who happens to use a non-Windows PC, that I often have to save for because they're more expensive than those things you use. It doesn't affect you in any way at all which sort of PC I use, so deal with it. Anyway, all PC gamers smell of wee. *dons flameproof suit*

It's just not the same without Vadriel, your arguments are well thought out, interesting and amusing. Without the MS bashing it's just not a flame war .... Sorry guys

Did anyone think to send Vadriel a PM to come here? 'Cos this place really needs people like that.

Doesn't bother me. It is very similar to a situation when somebody with bible in his hand stops you on the street and start preaching to you about what how much better he is and that you will go to hell. Any wonder that I want to beat that crap out of his head? Now, I can't go and punch the Mac user as the internet makers didn't think of this useful feature when they built it, but I can go into flame war with him. Better than nothing right? It's all friendly banter anyway, I wouldn't dream of trying to persuade a Mac user to start using a pc, I really don't care what people people feel smug about

Would it surprise you to learn many Mac users also use Windows PCs? I do, and I know of quite a few others. I don't know of many Windows users who work the other way, mind. There must be some, and obviously some have been so scarred by the experience they want flame bait Mac users all the time. And when did I start to try and persuade anyone to use a Mac over a PC? Horses for courses, whatever does the job, I say. Live and let live. It seems most PC users are more intent on trying to "convert" Mac users to their way of thinking. So, let's forget the flame wars, because they're utterly, utterly pointless. Now, don't get me started on Nikon vs Canon...

No it wouldn't, I know you can run some Camp program or something on Mac and it will run Windows. I never said you tried to persuade anybody. I am talking in general about how commom it is that Mac users think they are better people. Just look at those "I am mac I am pc" adverts. It does not bode well for mac users in my eyes. And no, I am not giving up this flame war, I will fight till I die. So PC users, CHARGE AT THE ENEMY!!!

Well, if you think those ads represent proper Mac users, you're sadly mistaken. As is Apple. Anyway, carry on trolling. No skin off my nose. If it makes you happy. PC gamers still smell of wee.
