See? You can do it :) A good email - lets hope we get replies.

Anyone else going to join in?

Lol, well, after the first paragraph, things just seem to flow more freely, let's see if we can get the whole user base here to send one!

I have sent Mr Wootton the following email. It was a bit rushed, but hopefully adds to the amount of emails about the issue.

Quote:
Dear Mr Wootton,

I am writing to add my name to the ever-growing list of disappointed users regarding the changes to the Dennis Interactive forums. I was a regular user of your forums, with over 3000 posts, however I shall certainly not be returning unless these changes are reverted.

Over my years on the site, I have learnt so much and met so many different people from all sorts of backgrounds. By being in contact with this variety of people, I can see many different viewpoints on the same subject, however this will not happen if these changes take place.

You have lost yourself a daily user and long-term subscriber to two of your magazines. This may not make a dent in your enormous profits, but around 150 people have already joined the replacement forum (X404) and many have vowed to take the same action. Over 150,000 hits to the said website in a 24 hour period can only show you how sincerely disappointed your loyal readers are with these changes.

Please stop before it is too late.

Peter.

In case you missed it, send a copy of your emails to:

theboard@dennis.co.uk

It appears that it will go to the whole Dennis board of directors, including Mr Dennis himself. It’s worth trying to communicate with the Big Man himself. He needs to know what a hash his team have made of it.

I get all the constructive email writing rather than swearing and shouting but honestly, I cant get the urge out of my mind to download the MD's picture and draw a shiny red d1ck on his head using my Wacom. Is that wrong?

I have just been reading the Rich List and am pleased to report that Mr Dennis' wealth has fallen from £750m to £500m :)

Did the same - will read it in WH Smiths at lunchtimes.

Actually, I've stopped buying mags as the online tutorials are all I need.

I am tempted to do the same but CPC will probably still be good. I really don't know what to do.

Veato, yes it is wrong. It would be funny but wrong.

Well, it's almost the end of Monday and no reply, shall give them a bit longer, until Wednesday, if I don't get a reply? It'll confirm my belief that they're just a bunch of cowards.

If you don't get a reply, it may be worth writing another email just to show them we're not going away any time soon.

I will write an email, I'm just a tad busy right now. Maybe later or tomorrow.
