I genuinely laughed out loud at that.

Apple User?

On a more depressing note the camera (compact not SLR thank god) has to go away for repair. No HD video for a while. Fingers crossed I'll get it back in time for the holiday.

No, I'm talking about someone that actually develops proper feelings of love for tech items.
This is a genuine condition, I just can't find the correct term for it.

Kindof

Warranty means the manufacturer will guarantee it will work for this length of time provided it is maintained etc, guarantee is what you usually get in store, under the SOGA if it's faulty under 6 months it is assumed the item was faulty at the time of sale unless proven otherwise, after then it's the responsibility of the customer to prove fault... which given the cost to prove it is not your fault means getting a manufacturer to do it is usually easier

I found a list of paraphilias on Wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_paraphilias but no mention apart from:

Quote:
Sexual fetishism - Nonliving objects

That's mostly sexual though, perhaps "Courtship Disorder"? "Animism"? "Objectiphilia"? "Objectum Sexual"?

This is correct, it's called Burden of Proof and it switches at the 6 month mark from the reseller to the end user.

I could object to that remark. I've never had any sexual feelings toward the hardware I use.

I shall resist the temptation to add the word "tool" to my post.
