I haz Pi

My RPi arrived today. I plan to hook it up and turn my telly into a "Smart TV", so much research is required.

I finally ordered some bits for mine today. Hopefully I'll be able to find some fun uses for it, but I'm thinking it could be interesting to use for LaFrenchUn's Python course.

Yep, I'm about to order a PiBox, a PSU and a flush-fit MicroSD adapter (and a large capacity MicroSD card).

I have a little wifi media keyboard/trackpad that should serve my living room purposes very well indeed.

You know what? I've had my R-Pi for around 3 months and I haven't played with it yet properly. I tried hooking it up and everything worked except the display so was going to get another HDMI cable but just haven't gotten round to it yet. Thanks for the reminder.

Mark, turn Pointless on, it's Returning Doctor Who characters in the final round (just missed Northern Ireland round)

sticks like sh*t is awesome, thats what I used I think, you have to be quick cos it REALLY is that good, its so good that the stuff actually stuck to the glue gun itself and seperated it :lol:

and no im not joking, you can go into a shop that sells it and literally say "have you got any sh*t for sale?" or "do you have any of that [LIFTED] in stock?" and they know EXACTLY what you mean :lol:

exept one time must of been a new guy he said "we only sell quality goods here" and I was like :lol:

sticks like sh*t is a REAL company brand and it really does do what it says in a very good way, ask the twits too see if they use sticks like sh*t paste aswell :evil:

I got the Pi up and running on my TV - I bought a 16GB MicroSD card locally, it runs off a 5v mobile phone charger - and my case will arrive on friday.

The only problem I have is getting it to run my Netgear N150 wifi dongle.
