Today I see Paul the fireman from Corrie at work and boyfriend sees Johnny Depp at work. Something is just plain wrong about that statement.

There is a grain of truth to it though - "Even though the reheating of the rice isn’t the problem, cooked rice that has been stored in room temperature could contain high levels of bacteria. Spores of Bacillus cereus is often found in uncooked rice and they have been known to survive the cooking process. Furthermore, cooked rice has a perfect level of moisture to facilitate bacterial germination and growth. Leave your pot of cooked rice out on the kitchen surface for a day or two, and you could potentially end up with rice full of bacteria-produced toxins. These toxins will survive any kind of reheating (even if the bacteria don’t), which is probably the reason this myth arose in the first place. So no, reheating rice will not give you food poisoning. However, forgetting to refrigerate your cooked rice might." Source - Also worth reading. Worth chancing the risk of a reheated mouthful as a hangover cure? I'm fine thanks....

it was an issue with Chinese restaurants in the 80's not cooling down rice quick enough and then reheating it. Once the spores have germinated and produced the endotoxins that actually cause the the diarrhea and gastrointestinal pain and or vomiting and nausea the food may be pleasant to taste but....

Just randomly woke up at 4am. I thought I heard a noise but it sounded like rain on the window so I lay awake.
Now I've heard the classic noise of a mouse and the bloody thing is under my bed.
