Named Simples, after a character in a television advert, she weighed just 18g (0.6oz) and was the size of a human thumb when she was born at Exmoor Zoo.

Named after a catchphrase rather than a character. Very cute though.

First I'll worry about my medical, then I'll worry about the start date.

Thankfully I don't need a medical but I do need a clean bill of health in terms of a security clearance. :D ( which I've already got ) :D

I was turned down for a job in the UK that required clearance because I hadn't been resident continuously here for 10 years or so. Seems a bit crap bearing in mind that I had been in an ex-colony, and that they had given me clearance to work at a nuclear facility.

Well my chat with a certain search company went fairly well last night, looking to set up a technical phone interview over the next week or so, if that goes well probably another one.... if that goes well an on site visit then I might get the job :D

One of the first questions: So if you are doing a games degree why are you applying to a company that doesn't do games?
A: Same reason I applied to MS, I wanted a new challenge that would take me out of my comfort zone and be an exciting challenge to prove myself in :)

That's not good. I'm assuming this has been triggered, as you're normally right at the other end of the spectrum.

*hugs*

Perhaps it would be truer to say "I'm reacting Angrily to everything today"

I have days when I get angry about the things I would normally just be pragmatic about:
1. People are idiots
2. People don't plan
3. People are inconsiderate
4. I'm always the one expected to make allowances

Not today though, today I'm actively angry about it.
