Fighting the temptation to change veato's quote to: "It's our first one year anniversary tomorrow." just because I am in a slightly silly mood, and also because I can!

The biscuit one is my fave. Cultivate that talent!
ION, a patient thought I was from Lancashire based on my accent. I'm from Brum!

Today Cuts 9/11 Coverage Short to Q&A Kardashian Mom http://tvline.com/2012/09/11/today-choo ... -coverage/NBC really are clueless. They fcuked up both Olympic events but I never thought they'd be as stupid as the above.

Yes Bratty, that's the wife. She is thinner than me although she claims to be 'spongy' herself after giving birth 4 weeks ago.

No, she's a Brummie too but "middle-upper class" so posh toff. Strangely, within a few months of moving to Hampshire, I lost my Brummie accent. I think it's slowly coming back but my two bosses are odd - one is from Yorkshire and the other Dudley. I wonder whether I'm developing something of an amalgamation of their accents!

AOL customer service, or lack thereof:
My mate has just moved house and contacted his ISP (AOL) to have his service moved over to his new address.
They refused. They said he would have to cancel his contract and set up a new one - the new contract offered nothing like the same service he was receiving for the money. He has been with the for fifteen years - clearly they want him out of his existing contract by any means.
Thing is, he moved seven years ago, and the transition was painless; and almost seamless.
Now they are telling him if he decides to move to a new ISP, he will lose ALL stored emails and his entire contact list, and they will continue to charge him until they MAC code has been taken up by the new ISP (which AOL are not in any rush to provide, despite being legally obliged to do so).
What a shower of sh!t.

Interesting photos veato, good to see a child's perspective. Please keep us (me) updated. I've got to teach part of an underwater digital photography course on the weekend. Normally it would be fine, but I will only meet the student and their equipment on the day of the dive. A lot of delicate tasks (compass, cameras) are best taught on land to achieve mastery, before taking them underwater.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.
