No. For two reasons: 1) it's a Merc, with all that entails; 2) it's a silver Merc, with all that entails.

Haven't had that problem personally. Had seen it mentioned on the UK owners forum mind, but the numbers were something like about 10% of people being affected. I suspect even if it doesn't develop it they'll just update the ECU as part of the first service.
