Well I kinda answered my own question. My road, despite being a generally busy road, was dead quiet over the past few weeks. There were a few more cars today so I wasn't sure but certainly on my commute, I was delayed by only 5 mins. Dread to think what it'll be like once everyone's back.

Cloaked one this might be one for you.
Had ear infection recently and was given squirty stuff to squirt in. Well the ear is still quite tender & if I touch if and it's squelching as if there's still ointment in it. How long does it take for that to go? Never had an ear infectoon before.

No more than a week but it depends on what's happening in your ear. If it was an outer ear infection, sometimes the amount of pus being produced stops the antibiotic drops going through so you need microsuction to draw out and remove the pus. If it's the ear drum that's infected, tablets tend to work better than drops but in either case, symptoms improve by only one day quicker than non-treatment. Have you avoided getting your ears wet?

Okay, WTF?!??!?
I just got a refund (£12) for a Canon remote trigger that I bought a year ago. Worse, it's on a credit card that's expired. the only thing I can think of is that I recently deleted the expired credit card off the list of payment methods as that's what one-click was set to use (trying to buy a kindle book in the middle of the night).

So having developed an ear infection and commenced treatment, you thought the best thing would be to propagate the infection by swimming? And then complained about it?

I got two emails like that today. I've asked Amazon what it might be about, and changed my password. I'm hoping it's a system glitch rather than anything really suspicious.

Apparently there's an article in the daily mail today about my matter who was on deal or no deal. I'll have to look it up online later.

Went for a hearing test today - I've have problems understanding what people say at times and I wanted to see if it was my hearing; it isn't, my hearing is fine, it is my brain that is the problem. Anyway, I was the first customer to ever think about shutting the door to the soundproof booth. The technician who was in there said it was the first time he didn't have to go back and shut the door. I also have very clean ears, and soft hairs on the ear drum.

I have that problem in Belfast at times, and it's nothing to do with my hearing. Mark
