ION, I'd completely forgotten that SD cards have that write protection switch... It's a good idea, but it reminded me of floppy discs and that thing of having to put tape over VHS cassettes

Odd that the 3.5"floppy had a toggle switch, yet years later Smart Media required a circle to be covered by something sticky for write protection. They may be a bit thinner than SD, but still.

Oh yeah, I'd forgotten about those - only ever saw one up close, and even it was one somebody had thrown away

Gave it to a work colleague though, as he had an old camera that it made a nice spare for :)

The most tragic card I have is a 128Mb Compact Flash that is used in the only digital camera I own (and rarely use)

Stick-wise, a number of 64Mb ones, which I basically use for transferring URLs, Word docs and the occasional set of pics. Also handy for loaning to people for that very purpose, as you don't really care if you get it back. Except the one with the Batman logo on it

First 24 hours of my app being on freewarepocketpc.net and already ~150 downloads, not bad for a small demographic

Apparently the UI needs work.... which would be good to know what needs changing as I'm a dev not a designer...

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

The last six weeks for me:

"How are you?"

"Uh, pretty tired."

Anyone else going through an extended always-knackered phase, despite getting 7+ hours sleep every night?

Brother is over from England, pretty much offline at the moment, girlfriend, her 2 daughters and my brother are pretty much a full-time job. Just downloading the 12 podcasts I missed over the last couple of days... Hopefully I'll have some time to catch up tomorrow...

My head still hurts from when I hit it on Horace getting into him last week, right on the doorframe a solid whack and it's very tender. I hope I didn't damage my branes!? :?

Awesome film. I might go and dig around for the DVD but have a feeling it's in the other hemisphere. :(
