I would prefer it to end now then at least LH will benefit by vettel not getting as many points. Plus it will give the weaker teams who have not pitted more points than they would get otherwise.

Yep, I'm bored with this now - I tend to agree with Martin Brundle that the race shouldn't have necessarily started under a safety car, although we would still have had the heavy rain further in. Still, I'm not the one sat in the driving seat.
What a shame, I had high hopes for this race.
Lewis seems to be on a self destructive phase of his career at the moment - there's a fine line between being an aggressive driver and a reckless one, and I fear he's treading over that line. I'm one of his biggest fans, but I just think he needs to calm it down a little - whilst I love to see him launching himself down the inside in a banzai move, at the moment he's making too many silly mistakes.
I tend to think it's good to end it here, especially as Paul Di Resta is up to 6th, that would be a good result for Force India!

EPIC RACE IS EPIC!!!!
Truly awesome race!
Good job done by the BBC also. 5 and a half hours of TV and although there was no racing for the majority of it I was never bored.

Stunning finale. JB went from 21st to 1st in thirty laps!
What a way to make up for a dismal first hour of racing.
Don't think my wife is as thrilled as I am though; we were supposed watch The King's Speech on DVD after the race.

I want to find out of a Merc SLS can actually go that far at full pelt without being refueled about three times . Does beg the question - what do they do if the safety car is running out of fuel, but the track isn't dry enough to properly race on yet? Not a bad race once it got started. which was about 5 laps from the end. It was certainly an entertaining finish, but I'm not entirely sure it was worth the amount of waiting around it took to get there... Jon

Another race I wasn't really going to watch, and look what happens - an epic battle against the weather and some epic racing.
Glad I stayed with it, too.

Good to know that the race stewards didn't hold JB responsible for the clash with Alonso. I think everyone knew it wasn't Jenson's fault, and it was nice to see Alonso beached and out of the race.

Yep, ignore my mid-race rant - I take it all back. That was bleedin' marvelous, well done Button!! I was up and out of my seat on that last lap, jumping round the living room - OK, partly due to having a drink or three whilst I waited for the action to start again! Now, why can't Jenson drive like that all the time.

I must say one of the highlights was seeing the Marshals playing chicken with the F1 cars. One of them must be a part time goalkeeper the way he dived across the track.

Heh, yeah that could have been very nasty if he hadn't scrambled up onto his feet! Found it on YouTube... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IJim403o2qE

I think Brundle and Couthard get my vote for commentators of the year with that mammoth filling in session. This site's always got some great quotes in, but Canada's race produced some corkers...
