Something I just don't get:

The Michael Jackson Hard Drive.
:?

Pointless branding, or what? I'd have thought the MJ coffee maker would have made more sense (insert tasteless joke about going in black and coming out as white here).

Apart from the inconsistency and apparent lack of confidence in the way it's written, that sounds amazing. Why, it almost sounds like.. a perfectly normal external 2.5" HDD. :?

I wonder if it comes with an age restriction on it?

Just had an interesting phone call with the FD about my bonus, he seems to have made up his own rules about it and I look like I'm losing out on £5k.
If the MD cannot sort this tomorrow my letter of resignation will be on his desk by 5pm

That's really rather a lot of money to randomly deny someone. Out of interest, was any reason supplied at all?

When I started I got my basic & commission on all sales I made with a yearly bonus for retaining customers with support contracts. A few months ago they changed the way we worked & paid me £300 a month extra instead of commission so I could spend more time developing customers & the sales manager would do the sales bit (the £300 was so I didn't lose out too much). I was also promissed commission if I pull in any big jobs (like the £40k deal I did in November but haven't seen any money for yet).
Now I've finished my first year I should be getting £5k for the retention bonus (5% of the £100k of business I look after). Spoke to the FD with the intention of finding out when I'd get it & if I could order myself an imac (pre-tax of course). He then started babbling on about how he was going to have to work it out & take £3300 from it for the extra £300 I've been getting & would get etc.
This means I'm not getting the £5k as he's trying to find a way to take what I've had already etc (although that wasn't part of the deal).

I'm booking my meeting now with the MD

Why is the Ex of my GF such a nob, after 9 years he still can’t get over the fact I'm with my GF. The ironic thing is he left her for another woman..... :?: :? :?: :!: :?

Woot!
I'm working tomorrow, because someone's got a stomach bug.
That means today was my only day off.
Kinda wish I'd made more of it, really.
