Morning all,
I had a busy Sunday - Tesco grocery shopping - early morning, then cut and cleared a load of brush/small trees from the garden, cleaned out the fish tank, made a roast dinner and even trimmed the dog's claws. If she thinks I'm lifting a finger tonight, she can kiss my ar$e.

Blood tests and ECG done, just the injection on Thursday to go before I'm all ready for the op on Friday. I get 2 normal days on Tues and Weds though, which is good!

Morning all. I appear to have been visited by the mucus fairy overnight and my sinuses are now thoroughly blocked and producing a rather spectacular headache  Time to hit the pain killers me thinks. Have a great day folks.

Ill.  I've got gastroenteritis or food poisoning. I was about to call in ill yesterday morning, when 2 of my subordinates rang up to say they had gastroenteritis as well, leaving the department unmanned. That meant I had to go into the office on the way to the doc's in order to arrange for somebody to perform support. Although the doc said it is probably gastroenteritis, because everybody else seems to be getting it, I think it could have been the baked prawns I had at a restaurant on Sunday - I was suddenly ill about an hour later. Eldest daughter is also ill, just a cold.

Morning. Sheesh. Apart from some lingering aches, I am hale and hearty. No lurgi in this patch of Blighty, thanks. Not sure how I feel about today. Not sure how I feel about much at all, frankly. The world seems intent on becoming ever more polarised and deranged. I guess I should concentrate on making my patch a nice place.
