Demolition Man is great fun. Wish there were more cinemas showing films like Robocop on the big screen.

+1 :geek:

If such things were promoted properly, I've always thought they'd get a good crowd...

That reminds me. Do we have a forum sweepstake on who will be the first forumite to be arrested under terrorism laws? ;)

I bought three Goodfellas pizzas from Morrisons yesterday under the "buy one get two free" sale. I bought them despite knowing I normally buy them for £1 each, how I saved only 50p by buying three of them and about how they're sat in the fridge.

On top of that, I suspect my mother has coronary artery disease, will likely need angioplasty and hence will have to go hospital. Yet she hasn't told me a single word. She now gets shkrt of breath after a flight of stairs and this was never a problem. Sometimes ignorance is bliss. I know the procedure and the associated risks and potential detriment if anything goes wrong

So now I have three pizzas in the freezer and a positive family history which increases my risk of having a heart attack. Damnit! Why is life so difficult? Maybe I can offset some of the pizza by eating a salad with it. Hmmm....

It'll probably be one of the photographers with their camera. (8+|

How long it's going to take for my hips to stop hurting when I move. :(

Whether I'll actually find any nice clothes at all on my shopping trip, or whether I'll end up with the misgogs as usual. (I hate shopping for clothes. I have no style, and much prefer comfort clothes when I can get away with it.)

Hoping that black cat that crossed my path on Saturday actually meant it, and it wasn't a cruel joke.

I am old. Compared to you. Mentally, I'm young. Physically, I'm a wreck.

I remember when we celebrated my Mum's 40th birthday. I was 19. I can barely remember when we celebrated my 40th birthday.

you are still in your 40s (not passed half way checkpoint I think!) so therefore you are still very young, maybe its because you are unfit making you belive you are old

Well, you're wrong there. ;)

Nope. I've made it my business to try to keep in touch with my inner child. It helps me to remain young at heart, while grumbling about what the young people do, and what the older people are doing as well!

Actually, all things considered, it's a nice age to be. Clowns to the left of me, jokers to the right, stuck in the middle with you.

I see what you did there.

I have a big camera and a big lens. I like to stand outside RAF bases and photograph the aircraft. I'm thinking the addition of a turban, long flowing robes and open-toed sandals should increase my chances in the 'first forumite to get arrested under the terrorism laws' to about evens
