A&E is for emergencies. GP will do.[/quote] My hospital has a walk in, 8am-8pm (any day bar Christmas Day) you just walk in, 'check in' (even if you arent registered locally) and wait your turn to see a doctor (worst time for me so far is 45 minutes on a Sunday), not A+E style as the hospital doesn't have the facilities for both any more

Popped into one of the campuses today, to return a book that I had borrowed from my PGCE tutor. She thanked me and then proceeded to tell me that my folder was "on top of that pile over there" and I could take it away with me. That's right, folks... John Vella has passed his PGCE! For those who do not know, PGCE stands for Postgraduate Certificate in Education and it's a pretty big deal, so yay me!

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

Well done, you. You can look forward to a life of being fully certified to teach semi-illiterate, psychotic "angels" and suffer from prolonged stress. whilst everyone else insists you have a cushy job!!

This. Most definitely. Someone I worked and socialised with every day for months turned out not to be the sort of person we thought he was. A few on here may be aware of what I'm referring to, others won't, but even after this time I'd rather not go into too many details.Bath had a very good walk-in service, separate to the hospital. Back here I went to the hospital's walk-in service, which was the same place as A&E, because I needed some medication that I get semi-reguarly whenever I have a flare-up and I was triaged the same as A&E patients, and assigned a bay exactly the same as everyone else. It all felt very unnecessarily and like I was an inconvenience/annoyance to the people who should be looking after genuine emergency cases.

Just worked out my average mpg for my trip to Goodwood and back. 24.5 mpg. I think I could've bettered that had it not been for a couple of sub-40mph bits.
