That's probably because it wasn't your First Post Of The Day.
Clue's in the thread title. ;)
I'd expect this post and yours to be deleted shortly.

Evening all,

Woke up this morning with a raging cold :( Got out the Beechams and went and bought some menthol sweets.
Went up to Faye's grandparents today to get some great wooden slabs, Faye and her Mam are going to do woodturning with it.
We then went down the allotment and I dug best part of it over, pulling out old beans etc. Feeling very tired now!

Feeling much better now, lots of fresh air and exercise seems to have shifted the worst of the cold :)

Ben

Morning all,

went shopping yesterday, as my pullovers are oll getting old and don't look good anymore, combined with a new job as project manager, I needed to do something...

Decent pullovers are darned expensive these days!

Ended up with a Hilfiger fleece, Brax thick cotton weave sweater and a Kitaro wool pullover and two lilac Eterna shirts... And a big hole in my bank account! :(

Morning all.

Considering trying to chop the hedge/triffid in the back garden using my new hedge clippers. Shame I don't have a ladder :?

Fingers crossed for no trip to A&E.

Have a great day folks.

Currently sat in a&e with the Wench who has suspected Meningitus. Not really an ideal way to spend a Sunday.

Morn.

Two hours sleep because wifey thinks an appropriate response to snoring is to palm-heel-strike your husband on the nose.

Morning all,

Still stiff from Saturdays digging, and I still have the cold one of my workmates gave me. I am back in work with an arsenal of Beechams Cold & Flu, Beechams All-in-One, and Covonia, so I should be OK.
Had it been any other time I'd have probably taken a day or two off to knock this cold on the head and spare other people my suffering, however, this weekend we are commissioning and there is still loads of work to be done...

Hello.

*wave*

I hope to be sort of busy today, and I have a vague nagging feeling of optimism creeping over me. That can't be right, surely?

Have a good Monday!

Morning all. 12:15 start for me today, but heading up to campus shortly (waiting for the buses with the people trying to scrape into 09:15s to head of first) to get some work done.
