Nope, it won't. Universally rated as the worst episode in Season 1. I believe JMS was ill and had a high fever when he wrote the episode.

Am I the only one who can't see the image of Scrooge, which I got from looking at the image name? Anyway, why is it hateful? Is it because the hare felt the need to wake up the poor bear? That's right, I don't want to give my cash to John Lewis. I'm such a Scrooge! Having said that, I generally find most sickeningly sweet things hateful, so maybe I'm just a miserable git. Also, this.

You don't have to. It's perfectly possible to admire the craft and creativity that went into the advert without ever having an intention to go near a John Lewis shop. That's my plan. Aside from the point that unless you live in a cave, forage for food from the local woodland and throwing another stick on the fire at night counts as your only form of entertainment, you're most likely seeing dozens of adverts every single day anyway.
