You and me both, mate...

Morning all,

Tired. Really tired.

It's the so-called management that's so very tiring.

MO 1:

  1. Ask Jim his opinion
  2. If answer is one you like, exit ELSE Wait 2 days then GOTO 1

MO2:

  1. Give Jim a sh!t-ton of work to do
  2. IF Jim.answer is null exit ELSE GOTO 3
  3. Tell Jim he only has to do one of the big jobs
  4. Wait 2 days
  5. Tell Jim he has to do all the jobs
  6. GOTO 2

Clearly the problem is entirely of your own making for using goto in your code :P

I think most of my managers use an awful lot of try...finally (ask someone who knows what the hell they're doing) loops.

Twice in as many weeks ideas I've suggested* that would have immediately solved the problem have came back round - guess who they're looking to blame for said projects dragging on?

Frankly, managers are often people too psychopathic to be politicians.

* We're talking about suggestions made personally, in front of management, and at staff meetings.

Good luck Mr Vella!

In my enthusiasm to post a pic of the blood moon I forgot to FPOTD

Ah well, never mind.

Still dark when the alarm goes off? Sounds like autumn's here

Advice of the day: set it for later then. 8-)
