While I can see why some people put their decorations up on the 1st of December even I think the middle of November is being just a tad overenthusiatic about the whole thing.
Decorations at the parents don't normally go up until the week before Christmas.
I don't have any decorations because I haven't spent a single Christmas down here so it seems a bit pointless decorating somehwere I'm not going to be. Having said that, I may actually have to work over Christmas next year for the first time so I might have to have a rethink.

I've got a feeling that the tree will be going up this weekend. I'll get it out of the loft and that's the end of my involvement. I also think that our eldest may be coming over to help her mother put it up and decorate, but as I said, that's not my job and not my problem.
