Morning all,

Busy day today... applying for jobs, getting the first draft of my dissertation proposal finished and emailed, and maybe... just maybe cleaning the cooker.

Who knows, I might even surprise the wife by making tea... Chicken Chausser today, I think, and maybe a rice pudding to follow.

OK, time for a cup of tea then I'll make a start. After a quick browse at what's going on here, obviously. ;)

Have a great day everyone.

:)

Journey wasn't too bad on my trek to West London. Now fed and watered and ready to start the day.

Have a good one all.

Good evening.

Just got back from seeing Toy Story 3 (in 3D). Not bad, although I didn't think the little cartoon at the start was up to the standards of previous PIXAR films. On the plus side it was half price thanks to Tesco giving me a voucher for a BOGOF on the film at the cinema. Never had that before.

Anywho, enjoy what's rest of the day folks.

Things may be looking up on the job front...

Getting kids ready for school, so...

Have a great day everyone.

Morning.

Good-oh, John.

I had an early night, because it got to around 8.30 last night and I began to enter a "long, dark teatime of the soul". I'd done everything useful I could do, and there seemed nothing else worth doing. So, went to bed, read a while, listened to a podcast, and dozed off.

Still, we're off to sunny Stony Stratford tomorrow, for a few more days R&R.

Onwards and sideways.

Morning all.

Lovely day today - blue skies and no gale force winds.

Overall, a huge improvement on yesterday.

Have a good one.
