Just fixed 2 issues on a tool for a tool at work

2nd issue was fixed in front of the MD and he is now claiming credit.... if I didn't complete the first issue he wouldn't even have gotten to the 2nd issue lol

We had a pillock like that where I used to work. He was my direct superior.

I caught him claiming credit, for something two of my staff had done, and corrected him; in front of the director.
Theres no way that cheese-brained muppet could come up with that - but it did explain why he took a great interest and questioned my staff at length about it.

Kinda back fired in a way though, because he was the guy who had final say when I had to re-interview for my own job.

As it turns out, it was the best thing that could have happened; though it didn't feel like it at the time.

PSN is down so can't play games.

Possibility of other online accounts being hacked so am gonna have to unlink them to the one I use on PSN. Have already unlinked paypal and ebay. Just gotta delete the info so they have no idea that's what I'm using it for. Will have to screw the forums I frequent!

Looked through the online bank/credit card accounts but can't find any evidence of me putting money into the PSN account. Am sure I just paid in for First Strike but neither has any info around the time of purchase!

Work has been hectic as half of the staff are off, and patients don't seem to realise they could have requested their repeat prescriptions in advance. They knew there was going to be two bank holidays close together. It's not like the news have failed to mention anything.

All the while, I'm trying to revise for an exam I paid £400 to sit, needs either a debit card or credit card to verify identity on the day (along with passport and GMC certificate) and there's a week left. Instead of revising, I'm having to fanny around with my online accounts.

Finally, there's a mouse about the house that doesn't want to get caught!

Gah! If you see me on the news over the next few days, I hope you understand!

If you're going to create a PDF form that needs to be filled in then pretty please enable me to do so electronically prior to printing. Also whilst you're there please allow me to open it up at the resolution I set in my preferences rather than the miniscule zoom you decided to save it at.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

You can use Preview under OS X to do that, if you know someone with a Mac.

The main trouble is I don't have a printer handy otherwise I could complete and then print immediately. I want to save the completed forms and then print later so I was also hoping that I could print to CutePDF but that method is throwing up errors in the file.

On the whole, I agree with you. They are spawned from Satan's own dingleberries. Them and online application forms that don't give you enough space.

A very quick test of Foxit Reader appears to be a success. Small, free and probably doesn't need updating 5 times a day either. :D

If your website has one of those auto-completes for home addresses, make sure you have an option for people to enter updates or corrections to the address you find.

I've just had to leave out the name of my road in order to get quotes for home contents insurance because the website wouldn't let me add it manually after using the house name and postcode (which is already 50% of the entire address) to find us.

Email exchange (shortened)
Me: Went to site yesterday and cannot move people into new office as no network connectivity. How should I progress?
Supervisor: It appears you have done no background work as a site visit would have highlighted these issues beforehand.

Anyone see the issue here?

The correct email response would be:
"That was the site visit you [LIFTED] retard!!"

Yeah, get your tin helmet on mate, he's looking to shift the blame.
