Morning all.

I cracked and put the heating on yesterday, a few days short of November. Still, at least my feet don't feel like blocks of ice any more.
In other news, clocks went back last night and I remembered to adjust my board prefs before posting this. Makes a change from normal.

Have a great day folks.

Morning.

The cats don't understand the time moving back an hour. They run on sun time all year round. I've reset my analogue watch, I need to change the kitchen clock and oven clock, and the analogue clock in my car. Other than that, everything is automagically corrected.

I'm glad that cold wind has gone. I'm off for a trip up the Medway on an old tug. Hoping to take lots of video, as well as some stills. And with that, it's time for me to head off to the docks.

*waves*

Morning all.

It's cold in the office & we've had to go round resetting the phone systems (why these things can't do it themselves I don't know)

Afternoon all.

It would appear that my watch battery has died (didn't think I'd had the watch that long). It's a radio controlled watch and the effort of reseting to winter time seems to have killed the battery. Boo. I'll need to look out the receipt to see how long I've had it.

Still, at least the wind has died down a bit since the weekend and it's not quite as cold.

Have a great day folks.

Greetings.

I tried some sofasurfing yesterday, for the change of scene. Sadly, my wifi decided it wanted to be capricious. I spent way too long troubleshooting it, and consequently my mood soured even further.

I am back in desktop mode today. The mood is "pensive", as I wait impatiently for news about a job.

Onwards and - MIND THAT CAT POOP!

Lo peeps

In the process of ordering 'er indoors a new bathroom - well, I have held out for about 15 years...

In other news, been experimenting with my photography now the winter sun is about - shooting into the light and stopping down the exposure compensation is making for some cracking shots (the 'Emanuelle' settings are also being toyed with).

In even more news, have just ordered a Canon 70-200mm F2.8 Mk2 lens, a 400m F5.6 prime and a 1.4x convertor - well, she got a new bathroom...

Heather - cat flaps, install one today - you know it makes sense...

Al

New monitor arrives today, rather looking forward to that assuming HDL don't balls up the delivery like they do normally.

*scrunches toes in excitement*

Well this morning's lie in really did not happen, mostly thanks to niblet being up multiple times in the night again. Somewhat bleary eyed this morning.
