Serious? That's a bit sh*t. Didn't they have anyone else in the party who wanted to run it, though.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but is it tomorrow when I vote? Peter.

I've never done it before, but I'll give it a go! I've had unaddressed mail from Conservatives and Labour; addressed mail from Conservatives; a telephone call from Labour and a flyer from some weirdo in the street. Peter.

I have from the Lib Dems. Nothing from Labour. My own personal rule is if they can’t be arsed to even send a leaflet, then I can’t be arsed to consider them.

It doesn't seem that labour have really bothered to try and win many votes.
Have they given up?

The Official Monster Raving Loony Party are still going, and fielding candidates when they can. http://www.omrlp.com/Don't know why anyone would think they'd disappeared because Screaming Lord Sutch died. *shrug*

No that's campaigning Camborne style, we have a tad more class on the North coast.

Thanks for that, best laugh I've had all day I had one flier from the tories, which I didn't even read. If someone takes the time to go door to door canvassing, then I'd be impressed that they actually cared enough to get real about the job. A flier? Waste of trees and money.

I think they are far too busy doing damage limitations on their expenses – once the Telegraph has finished with the House of Commons, they may well move to MEPs or even local councillors.

i hope that its the local councils and officials (elected and unelected) that are investigated next in regard to pay/bonuses/expenses along with how much of our council tax money is invested in overseas accounts and not used for the purpose the tax was gathered for …
