Like most people i'd be willing/happy to contribute, just really depends on what it would be.... maybe game reviews as others have suggested, of the 360 nature seeing as i only really have my laptop and htpc computers up here with me.
The main problem i see with doing something like reviews is obviously the fact that said person needs to get their hands on said item which at the early stages invariably seems to involve buying it. Whilst for games i can see certain people happily buying certain games on release dates etc. which means even a small team could probably cover most new games if interested, however for hardware i doubt a small team of reviewers would be willing to part cash every so often for a new piece of kit...

Games are fairly easy, tech news would be easier at first. Might take a bit of wangling to get review samples sent (although must be possible)

Would probably need to be more established first... with a larger user base i'd assume.

Or a way to prove that the site will grow enough to warrant their input now. As said, I think we should start with smaller things and then move up to extreme hardware later.

My problem would be the regularity element, at the moment not an issue as I'm out of work but when I am working it would not be easy.
I also generally struggle to come up with topics.
There are a couple of articles I've written regarding sharepoint and another on accessibility you are welcome to use.

i would suggest a sort of semi-blog/column thing, were if someone has something to say, they can write about it and get it published, ie if you just bought a new graphics card, and thinks its totally awesome, or a PoS then write about it, and the same goes for anything, new car, new mp3 player, anything, that could make an interesting read and i have never seen this on any other website a site were its members make the site, sounds cool doesn't it, and seens as then it wouldnt need to be a a weekly thing or not, just when you have time, make something and post it, then have your article on a website

I like the idea of a "we made this!" series of articles.
However, who will be responsible for maintaining a good level of grammar and spelling?
