Does anyone else's pets have pages on Facebook? Two or three years ago my mum decided to create a Facebook page for our (now dead) dog.

If my dog had puppies I think I might create an event or something, but not a whole account lol

I know I'm going to regret mentioning this, but as a demonstration of website building for my other half's 8 year-old great-niece, I put together a website featuring our cat It's the first time I've done a website so don't expect anything too high-tech! Good job Freeway was up to the task. Clicky

JessW009 has an account on here and the other place. Of course, she doesn't post now she's dead. She also has a dedicated folder on my Photobucket. She never kept a blog or facebook or anything like that.

Tina's dog, Jack. Lovely dog, but he is balls high and has a habit of running straight at me, when I come in the door. I learnt to turn sideways when I come through the door very soon after meeting Tina.

It's amazing how good dogs can be at that sort of thing. Mum and Dads dog is an absolute expert at landing a paw right in the privates. This is Glen as a puppy about 18 months ago: Suffice to say, the knotted rope lasted about 5 minutes once he got started. Not allowed pets in my rented house

Are you sure about that? I know a lot of rental places say No Pets, but that's just a kind of default policy. If you actually ask specifically, you might get a different answer. I've lived in a couple of rental places that said no pets, but allowed my dog after I asked. You'll probably end up having to pay an extra damage deposit, or maybe agree to have all the carpets cleaned when you move out or somesuch. Worth asking, if you haven't already. (I'm in the same boat, I'd love a cat or a dog here, but it's not allowed - or practical TBH )

And there's the rub. I'd love a dog (not a cat person) but I feel it wouldn't be fair as I work during the day so it would be on its own most of the time (and possibly chew things). Plus, I'm not sure I could afford to feed it either.

Not my pet exactly but the cat I'm looking after while my other half is working away (place she's renting definitely doesn't allow pets, sadly) His name is Fred..

Our bunny Huggle (house rabbit) When she was young More recently She's brilliant. I didn't realise how much personality bunnies could have when not left out in the hutch in the garden.

Oh really? I've had dogs and cats all my life. My boyfriend thought he was a 'dog person' but after moving in with me and living with cats he's now completely besotted with them. One of the cats went missing one morning for 4 hours recently. He was adamant I had let her out in the cold. I have never heard a man weep and wail as much before lol. Suddenly she shows up in the kitchen like nothing had happened and had been asleep in a corner somewhere in the house all along. I'm sure if you lived with cats you would grow to love them. Personally I am an animal person
