Maybe they could make them like the bat man reboots. ....... Much darker.

Well the third trilogy is already written and a lot of fans will hate anything else being presented as a sequel to star wars.
but if they somehow release Thrawn trilogy , Nice!

What I have seen of The Clone Wars has been pretty impressive. Good story arcs, and somehow they have kept it together, while subtly moving Anakin down to the Dark Side. We also have to remember that there is this TV series Lucas has been wittering on about. Maybe Disney will have the resources to do this out the door. However, Disney has form with Science Fiction. It cocked up royally with John Carter of Mars, which, from what I know of it, should have been a no-brainer to get right. However, it did not do well and I believe they lost money on it. This may be point where the Asylum version of the story may have been better. I’m not sure I heard enough ringing endorsements of the Tron sequel for it to be marked as a success either. So recent sic-fi attempts have been a curate’s egg at best. So getting Star Wars? Well, on paper, it doesn’t look as cozy as it should be. If they keep the LucasFilm studios pretty much intact and let them do the job without any interfering, then maybe we’ll be rewarded for our impatience with the last sequel trilogy.

Thinking about it, Disney won't let this fail.

John Carter did fail in terms of box-office takings, but whatever the losses there was more than made up for with Avengers Assemble. The TRON sequel certainly did good enough business for Disney to be making a second sequel. Like Alex, I don't see Disney making a failure out of this, at least not initially. It'll want it's money back, and it'll get it. Star Wars fans are some of the most loyal genre fans there are, despite episodes 1-3. Mark

Strangely enough, TRON : Uprising - the cartoon series they've spun off the last film - is also pretty good. I know I'm sounding like a stuck record, but it really is. Jon

Fixed this for you. They never did say what it was the Avengers assembled. Seeing John Steed and Emma Peel wrestle with an Ikea flat pack chest of draws can't really make for an exciting night out at a cinema.

Does it count as a proper ComicCon then?
