That displays really weirdly and I think I kinda posted it above, maybe.

Carnahan's a bit of a hack these days, and that sizzle reel could have been made by anyone on YouTube ffs. With their recent successes, it'll be interesting to see if Marvel acquires DD again...

Studios ditching the tentpole strategy?

http://blogs.indiewire.com/thompsononho ... eaderPanel

I don't understand why you'd consider Z or Ronin to be worth those budgets. I mean a cult zombie book and the director of what's widely considered one of the worst Bond films ever alongside Die Another Day + Brad Pitt? Considering how risk-averse the studios are, that just seems like they're desperately 'chasing' :?

I found that all quite interesting :) , though I think DC has mistaken comic book movies being taken seriously as people thinking they're arty

Sequel to The Snowman
I know this is for TV, but the article has a lot to say regarding about discussions that we have had in this thread regarding remakes and reboots.
I totally agree with the final paragraph.

+1, but it's never stopped me thinking about how Highlander, Terminator and God knows what else should have been left alone ;)

I'm rapidly approaching the "I don't care" territory regarding remakes.
