I've become interested in that one after reading about the film, I think I'll try the library or second hand shops for it at some point :)

Cheers, I'll keep that in mind but I'm surrounded by unread books at the mo :)

Voices from the Grave: Two Men's War in Ireland - Ed Moloney

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Voices-Grave-Tw ... 83&sr=8-1#

Brilliant book I'm reading in work on two of the people involved in the violence of the Troubles (one IRA, one UVF), because the information contained wasn't released until the interviewees had died, they were free to give the full details on their own actions and those of others. Gerry Adams has even more questions and allegations to answer as a result

I'm also reading a study on James Cameron and his films:

James Cameron (Routledge Film Guidebooks) by Alexandra Keller

I have to stop doing this... I'm still 'reading' the above two books, but have also read about the first 10 pages of:

Chopper

Flat Earth News

Clarkson's I know You Got Soul

and a Chris Ryan book I can't even remember the name of...

Badly need to focus

I've been re-reading Raymond E Feist's Serpentwar Saga. I'm nearly done with Shards of a Broken Crown.

I need to buy the next saga in the series now, but I'm in a "no spending" period at the mo. So, I need to consider whether to re-read another book, and I'm thinking I shall revisit the Riftwar Saga set again, just to refresh my memory.

I've been reading books from hostel book exchanges, over the past few weeks I've read:

Mao's Last Dancer - Li Cunxin

The Sound of Laughter - Peter Kay

Robinson Crusoe - Daniel Defoe

Tess of the D'Ubervilles - Thomas Hardy

Inversions - Iain M. Banks

MP: The Life of Michael Peterson - Sean Doherty

All very good, surprising what you can find for free!

I did that for O-level Eng Lit. I think it's fair to say it did not make me a fan of Hardy's works. What did you think, out of interest?

Finished the Punisher books (very good)

Which Punisher books did you read? I've been going through the MAX comic collections.

Over a month ago, I downloaded the complete Sherlock Holmes collection on to my iPhone. Have been steadily reading through then since. The crap thing is the program sorts according to title or author but not to published date, hence I started reading the later books first rather than the earlier ones. Some of the short stories are simply superb.

Coincidentally, ITV3 have been airing the TV series of Sherlock Holmes' short stories. I couldn't imagine a more perfect Holmes than Jeremy Brett.
