It's the owl from Winnie the Pooh, he's the one you wanna watch!

Gutted, this was all set to be a tale of win.

My download speed at home is not sufficient for watching catch up tv. I missed the first masterchef the professionals and it being bbc, it's not repeated anywhere, nor is there a plus one channel. However I noticed on my iplayer app, there's a download option, so I figured, I can download it and watch it later.

Here's where I thought I'd been cunning; I spent 30 quid on a lead to output video from my iPhone to my tv. Unfortunately, it doesn't work for catchup tv. :( so that's 30 quid for a lead to watch stuff I can take off my iPhone anyway.

My Internet speed is really starting I annoy me as I basically miss out on the greatest invention of the Internet age - catchup tv.

Have you tried the free Get iPlayer Automator on your Mac?

See here:
http://tom-tech.com/iplayer_automator/i ... mator.html

In Safari, just find the programme's page that you want to download on the BBC iPlayer website and either copy and paste it into Get iPlayer Automator or click the 'Use Current Webpage' button. You can queue up items to download overnight if you get faster speeds then.

Once downloaded, you're left with a bog standard QuickTime video (MP4) with no DRM, which you can do pretty much what you want with - add to iTunes to sync it onto your iPhone, for example. One of the default actions is to add the items to your iTunes library - check its preferences to turn this off if you don't want to do that.

That should work with AirPlay too if you have an AppleTV.

That is frigging awesome. Another case is made for getting an intel mac. I'm currently holding out for a Mac Pro upgrade at the moment, but seriously toying with a mini to tide me over.

Well, you can't buy taste! How to ruin a decent car. I wonder if he's let his insurance company and the DVLA know that it's now a miliatry vehicle?!!

I've never seen a professional footballer with any taste at all. Virtually all of them are a case book for having more money than brains. Have a google of the name 'Stephen Ireland car', you'll understand.

Although I'd disagree with one thing - that Bentley is a pretty rubbish car for the money, even before he let the three year old loose with a paint set on it.

There are a plethora of bad car paint jobs there. Resale value zero. Which makes me think does his insurance take in to account the resale values of his cars? Imagine him crashing as he has just bought the car. Pay out zero because of the paint job.

I doubt very much if Mario gives a damn. That car is half a week's wages to him, he's already got enough money to never have to work again and he's, what, 22? No wonder his value system is a bit... skewed.

Given it's unlacquered that suggests it's wrapped.

Assuming he even has insurance, if I had his money I would just put £500,000 on deposit with the Supreme Court. Job done.

I had never heard of that. So went to google it. Interesting. Still no account for a complete lack of taste.

The important thing about vinyl wrapping is that it is properly applied. The most recent horror story I heard was about a nissan gt-r. There were cut marks into paintwork, broken brackets, woodscrews drilled in to secure bits, wiring broken etc. but if done properly it costs around £3000 and is reversible.
