I've been mulling over getting a suit for the last week. Problem is it retails at £1899, and even if I get a good discount it will still be a heck of a lot of money.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

I wonder how they solved the problem: "I have problems evacuating air in my underwear."

Wow - at one point I was debating spending £1000 on a completely handmade tailored suit.

Same here, and realising that I should have used a cashback website before now.

Heating oil!

Specifically the educated guesswork involved in working out how much we'll need to get us through the winter. This is our first year in the new house so we have no idea how much it will take, we're estimating based on Reds experience of buying heating oil for his work. We don't want to buy too much, but equally we don't want to buy too little because prices are as low as they'll be for a year at the moment and if we have to top up in Jan or Feb it'll cost us double for half the amount.

Still, I guess we'll just suck it and see...there's always blankets and huge jumpers... :?
