'Creature' hits new box office low

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/film ... e-low.html

Quote:
A low budget horror film has set an unwanted box office record by making the least money ever for a film opening on more than 1,500 screens across the United States.
“Creature,” which centres on a monster living in a Louisiana swamp, was shown nationwide but attracted an average of only six people to each screening. It grossed a total of $331,000 (£209,000) over its opening weekend.
According to a New York Times review the movie was “long-on-gore, short-on-brains.” The newspaper said: “The climactic scene, which seems to draw on mud wrestling for inspiration, is so silly that perhaps those who do make it through this swampy ordeal wish they hadn’t.”

Hyper fast-cutting trailer here. Talk about cliché-ridden....there's not one original idea in this movie!

I really am sick of that 'cut to white' edit that you see 100 times in the trailer.

It looks like a slasher remake of the Creature from the Black Lagoon, and a very bad one at that.

Arnold Schwarzenegger is 'writing' his autobiography, it seems. The title is *ahem* 'Total Recall - My Unbelievably True Life Story. :)

Hastily added chapters, deletions and legal team on standby I suspect

Leonardo DiCaprio’s J Edgar trailer online

Might just be the trailer, but it seems a little overcooked to me :?

Teaser Trailer For THE GREY!

I'd have more faith if director and star hadn't made the A-Team movie together (the biggest insult to moviegoers I'd seen since Transformers 2)...

Unfortunately, Clint Eastwood as a director is prone to this, the self-righteous tone is always there... usually however, the film has the quality to wear it well such as Million Dollar Baby, when it doesn't though, the film can be very grating, like Flags of our Fathers :x

''I'll be back!" would have been far more appropriate. Of course the chosen title has nothing to do with the release of the current remake of the film of the same name.

There's apparently unofficial and rather spoilery Catwoman pics doing the rounds - if that sort of thing bothers you, be careful what you click on, and the official pics should be out soon anyway ;)

Well having seen them, she does look nice in the catsuit. Lovely ears as well.

There were some pics of the cat womansuit and batman in what will become, via the magic of cgi the batwing. Clearly hugely spoilerific. Because we didn't know either of those things happened in the film before this.

Gotta say though, I was surprised the suit was furry, and indeed included a diamanté collar and a tail.

Some people don't want to know, other's don't mind. I think a few people here have even said they've actively shunned trailers in the past before going to see a film. For me it depends on the film...
